    It was great to see people again after such a long time apart and the social side of the industry is something we need to ensure we manage to rebuild. I remember Fred Capel, when he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement at the National Fish and Chip Awards, saying on stage that many of his best friends are in this room and industry and it is that which makes us so different.

    THE FISHING NEWS - SEPTEMBER 2021

    The themes of 2021 fish supplies have been plentiful catches of large cod and poor haddock supplies throughout the year. At this time of year the scientists responsible for setting fishing quotas by species in Iceland confirm total allowable catches for the coming year. The Barents Sea quota year runs from January to December and will be confirmed in the next few months.
