A darker golden coloured batter with a crispy and crunchy textured bite. Middleton No.1 is specifically designed to add lift and remain crisp in display cabinets.
- Add COLD water and mix to the consistency of single cream.
- Whisk until smooth, if using an electric mixer, whisk for a maximum of 90 seconds.
- Leave for a minimum of 15 minutes in a cool place.
- You can check the consistency of your batter using a Flow Cup. We recommend a Flow Cup time of 30 - 50 seconds.
- For ideal results fry at 190 ̊C/375 ̊F
- Cook until crisp and golden.
